David Feder, DDS is a founding partner of Sutter Terrace Dental Group and has enjoyed a successful private practice since 1977. His strong commitment to quality dental care is evident in every aspect of his general and family dental practice.
Dr. Feder actively encourages his patients to be involved in their dental treatment. Through the use of photography, digital x-rays and intra-oral photos he helps his patients visualize their treatment options. He explains treatment choices in language patients understand.
Patient comfort is extremely important to Dr. Feder. He believes that each patient deserves a pleasant, efficient office visit while receiving the highest quality dentistry available. Due to his interest in the variety and depth of continuing educational courses, Dr. Feder is able to offer his patients advanced techniques and materials. In an effort to stay on the leading edge of dentistry, he is involved in numerous postgraduate education courses.
Dr. Feder is actively involved in the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Sacramento District Dental Society. Dr. Feder has participated in the “Smiles for Kids” Children's Dental Program since it began in 1991 and has helped provide free dental care to thousands of underserved children in the Sacramento community.
Dr. Feder was born and raised in Los Angeles. He attended the University of California at San Diego and the University of California at Davis, before graduating from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, San Francisco in 1977. Dr. Feder was awarded membership in Omicron Kappa Epsilon fraternity for academic excellence and the Tau Kappa Omega Honor Society.
Dr. Feder, his wife Liz and his son, Calvin, share their love of the outdoors and pursue recreational travel and educational activities. He is passionate about downhill and powder skiing, and enjoys hiking, biking, reading and cooking. Dr. Feder supports Sacramento’s musical theatre and is fluent in French.
